This is the first in the 4 blocks that I will do in my first term.
I have enjoyed it, however I have found the freedom of what you can do, to a certain extent to be quite daunting. This aspect of the block has made me question whether I would really be suited to take this path in the New Year, as I think I work better when I have a more structured project.
However the work I have produced in this block has taken me on quite an interesting journey, and it has been nice to get back into the developing mind set when doing textile projects. I have certainly learnt some new techniques from Isabel which I found interesting, especially to see how she works in more 3D way, whereas my work has often been quite surface and print based. I look forward to my next print block.
